No Happily Ever After, 2020
World Vision UK partnered with children and young people on a research project called: ‘No happily ever after’ to learn more about the impact of child marriage.
It supports the ‘It Takes A World’ campaign, which calls for a greater focus on protecting children from violence in emergencies.
More than 80 children (13 to 18 years), from five countries were part of this research. This report includes three stories of child marriage, the comments of the focus group participants, their messages to the UK Government, and three calls to action for the UK Government as an aid donor country.
