Our annual cake and coffee morning is back!
Last year, we raised over £3,300 from our wonderful community fundraisers and their donors in celebration of International Women's Day.
But you can get involved in celebrating this year's International Women's Day (8 March 2024) by inviting some friends over for cake and coffee or organising a cake sale.
Host your own coffee morning on International Women's Day
Here at World Vision we believe it's important to support and provide opportunities for women and children living in the hardest places. Around the world, women and girls are experiencing violence and mistreatment such as child marriage and female genital mutilation. But with your support women and girls can learn about their rights.
That's why we're encouraging people to host a simple coffee morning. You could have friends over for coffee and cake to celebrate our work with women - and to raise funds for World Vision's crucial work. It could be as simple as inviting friends for a brew and asking for a donation or hosting a ticketed event in your home or at a venue.
