Together, we’re bringing hope to vulnerable children and their families
In 2022, East Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) saw a dramatic increase in violence.
Thousands of families are now displaced, hunger increased, the education of many children paused. Overall, the need was far greater than anyone foresaw or was prepared for.
The situation was dangerous for children and their families, as well as World Vision staff.
Despite this, we still saw some big wins in the fight against child malnutrition, social cohesion, animal breeding programmes, climate resistant farming, business start ups, empowerment of women through livelihoods and savings groups and child learning.
