It can seem hard to feel hopeful at the moment. A pandemic and a global climate crisis, not to mention other big issues and our own personal difficulties. When the world seems to be in a mess, is there hope?

Yes, the Bible tells us there is hope and to find it we usually have to look up to God, rather than down at ourselves or own community.

Psalm 42.5 says:

Why, my soul, are you downcast?
    Why so disturbed within me?
