Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth

We are deeply saddened by the news that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has passed away. Her commitment and dedication to public service, charitable endeavours, the Church, the United Kingdom, and the wider world, was an example to us all.

We pray for the the Royal family, our nation, the Commonwealth, and the world as together we mourn. 

Father God, we give thanks for the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. 

Thank you for the wisdom you granted to her, for the compassion you gifted to her and the love of Christ that she reflected in all she did. 

We pray for her family and loved ones, that you would comfort them in their loss and bring them together in your love. 

We pray for the Church of England that it may continue to be a shining light for Christ just as Queen Elizabeth modelled in her headship. 

We pray for our nation and all those across the commonwealth who are grieving. May we continue to honour all that Queen Elizabeth stood for as we serve the people of the world.
