Their fight, our future, 2018
World Vision UK partnered with children and young people on a research project called: 'Their fight, our future' to learn more about protecting children from armed groups.
It supports the ‘It Takes A World’ campaign, which calls for a greater focus on protecting children from violence in emergencies.
More than 60 children and young people (aged between 13-22 years) were part of this research. The report includes four stories of children who were recruited as child soldiers from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and South Sudan. These stories were used to provide an opportunity for young people to voice their comments and give their recommendations to the UK Government.
