10 years of uplifting communities

Premier Contract Supplies is a family run business supplying new builds with high quality sanitary-ware. Since 2014, the business has rallied together, in partnership with global NGO World Vision, to support communities across the globe in overcoming poverty and responding to emergencies. Their efforts have improved the wellbeing of hundreds of thousands of people by addressing critical levels of hunger, poor sanitation, child protection issues and so much more.

Working together, over the next three years, Premier Contract Supplies will align its specialism in providing premium bathrooms across the UK, to now bringing the joy of clean water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) to a community in Mozambique.

Our partnership will provide clean water boreholes and new latrines which more than 2,500 people will be able to use every day. We can't wait to see the impact of their support!

Angola Water Project

In 2014, the business first supported the instalment of a water facility in Angola, where almost half the population lacked access to clean water. The project helped to provide dignity and improved quality of life and levels of sanitation within the community.

Alongside DFID, this project addressed essential reproductive, maternal and child health services in DRC, helping to improve levels of nutrition, sanitation, family planning and infectious disease control.

United Nations' World Food Programme

Our partnership with the United Nations’ World Food Programme has tackled the global hunger crisis across Afghanistan, Sudan, Ethiopia and many other countries. As WFP’s largest implementing NGO partner for more than 18 years, World Vision deliver critical food resources even in some of the hardest to reach places.

Ukraine Emergency Response

In 2023, Premier Contract Supplies provided additional support to World Vision's continuing work in Ukraine and neighbouring countries of Moldova, Georgia and Romania, to provide children and families with critical psychosocial support and resources.

Improving nutrition in Bangladesh

Between 2018 and 2023, the business supported an initiative preventing malnutrition in children under 5, and working with caregivers of children and adolescent girls to improve nutrition and hygiene practices. Highlights include 55,000 mothers reached with timely feeding counselling.

Clean water and sanitation in Mozambique

Until 2026, the partnership will now be providing new boreholes and latrines to a community in Mozambique. Above is an existing toilet made from organic materials servicing over 600 pupils. Clean and safe latrines and clean running water will prevent school dropout, support girls through menstruation and prevent the spread of water-borne diseases.
