For over a decade Puente Romano Beach Resort has been more than just a beautiful escape: it has been a pillar of support for millions of children. As one of our dedicated charity partners, Puente Romano and its visionary owner, Daniel Shamoon, have tirelessly supported our mission through annual gala events and generous donations.

Since 2012, the resort has supported World Vision in reaching more than 2 million children across Africa and Asia. Together, we have provided essential TB testing, malaria prevention, education, health and nutrition to ensure children have access to clean water, nutritious meals and quality education.

Uganda "SUPREME" Project

In 2020, we launched the "Supreme" project in Uganda, An initiative that supports economic empowerment for refugees and the local communities they reside in. Thanks to partners like you, we have been able to support thousands to upskill and start their businesses.

Health and healing

From testing over 400,000 people for TB and treating 63,000 in Somalia, to providing care for over 11,000 in Kenya, our partnership has made a profound impact. In Myanmar, we have reached nearly 35,000 people, transforming lives through our relentless fight against malaria and tuberculosis.

Thriving with nutrition

Thanks to your generous support, we have reached over a million children in the most remote parts of the world. Your contributions enable us to screen for malnutrition, provide life-saving therapeutic food, and educate parents and caregivers on nutritious diets and positive hygiene practices.

World Vision Gala

Every August since 2012, Puente Romano Beach Resort has hosted the World Vision Gala. An evening of fine dining, mesmerising music performances, raffle draws, project impact, and, most importantly, fundraising.

World Vision, renowned for bringing hope to children around the world, is deeply grateful for the ongoing support of Puente Romano Beach Resort. This annual gala's fundraising has helped train health workers, improve access to healthcare services, provide life-saving food, medication, education, access to clean water, and economic empowerment for communities around the world.
