How your donation helps
Even before the earthquake, life in Myanmar was incredibly difficult. Millions of children and families were already in need of aid. Many didn’t have enough to eat. Now, things are even worse.
But with your help, we can respond. We’ve worked in Myanmar for over 30 years. Alongside other DEC member agencies, we’re already reaching families in crisis. We've provided food to over 400 households and are distributing hygiene kits and over 80,000 bottles of clean water.
But we urgently need more funds to scale up our response. You know how frightening it must feel. For a child, it’s beyond words. The chaos. The noise. The fear. With homes and schools destroyed and families forced out into the open, the risk to children’s safety has soared. The trauma of losing your home – or being separated from your family – can leave scars that last a lifetime.
In times like these, your compassion and generosity can bring light to a very dark moment. You can remind children that even in the midst of horrendous disaster they are not alone.
Please help save lives today.
